Parking near Decorium · 5 min walk
Parking is available at The Mall West Car Park on Level 5, accessed via Caxton Road, N22 6TB ↗. Parking is available until midnight on the event day. Pedestrian access for car collection is on the High Road, N22 6YQ ↗, opposite Argos.

Guests Arrive Ladies Only
Ladies are warmly welcomed to arrive first and settle in. Weddings are the perfect excuse to reconnect with old friends and family you have not seen in a while take the time to catch up, embrace and enjoy each other's company.
7:00 pm
Arrival Drinks & Canapés Ladies Only
Enjoy a warm welcome with drinks and seasonal canapés to start the evening.
After 7:00 pm
Cultural Celebrations Ladies Only
A beautiful and joyful ladies-only session featuring cherished cultural celebrations in honour of the bride.
9:00 pm
Male Friends and Family Guests Arrive
The celebration opens to all guests. A wonderful opportunity to reconnect with friends and family and share in the joy of the evening together.
9:30 pm
Wedding Dinner
A sit-down dinner served in the main hall to celebrate Guled and Ilwad.

Enjoy live Somali cultural music performed by talented musicians bringing the sounds of home to the celebration. Expect popular Somali classics and soulful melodies that will have everyone on their feet.
Photo Booth
A fully-propped vintage photo booth in the library from 6pm. Prints are yours to keep as a memento of the day.

Your phone remains with you at all times, it will simply be locked inside a soft pouch that you carry throughout the evening.
Guled and Ilwad are inviting you into one of the most intimate and sacred moments of their lives. The Wedding Reception will be a phone-free event. They ask, with love, that you honour that and be fully present with them.
Unplugged Reception
Guled and Ilwad have made a heartfelt request that photography and videography by guests be set aside during the Wedding Reception at The Decorium. To honour this, all phones will be placed into Yondr pouches upon arrival. Your phone remains with you at all times, it will simply be locked inside a soft pouch that you carry throughout the evening.
You will still be able to text, call and connect with loved ones, exchange numbers with old friends you bump into, and keep in touch with anyone outside. The pouch only restricts the camera. At the end of the evening, your pouch will be unlocked and your phone returned to full use.
This is a deeply personal moment for them both, and this request comes from a place of love. They want every guest to feel truly present, and to know that what happens in that room stays sacred to the people who were there.
A professional photographer and videographer will be capturing every moment beautifully.
Social Media
We kindly ask that no photos or videos from this event are shared on social media, not during and not after, especially where the bride or any other female attendee can be seen. The couple, along with their family and friends, value their privacy deeply and ask that this be respected.
What happens here stays here. Respect their story it is theirs to share, on their own terms, in their own time.
Photo Booth
We have not left you without a way to capture the day! A dedicated photo booth will be available throughout the evening reception the perfect place to take photos with your loved ones, laugh, be silly and create memories you can take home.
